Once upon a time, there was a girl named Little Red Riding Hood (I’m sure you’ve heard her story). After her experience with the big bad wolf, she was skipping along the path to her home. “Petite Rouge! There you are!” cried her mother when she burst through the door (her mother had a French background).
That night after supper, Petite Rouge had the strangest dream. She dreamt that she was riding in a car that could fly! “Pooh-Yi!” she thought. The car landed right on top of the Jetson’s house. All of a sudden, she was in the year 2062! She pushed back her garde-soleil to see better. All of a sudden, there was George Jetson standing on the roof! “Hiya, Red Riding Hood! You’re spending the day with us!” “Oh, thank you, Mr. Jetson,” said Little Red.
Petite Rouge introduced herself to Jane, Judy, Elroy, Rosie, and Astro. Then she started fixing up some lunch. “Bon Appetit!” she said. There were French fries, burgers, fried chicken, and soda pop. Little Red Riding Hood enjoyed herself immensely because the Jetsons were so nice to her.
After supper with the Jetsons, Little Red wanted to go home. When she told Jane, she said, “Of course you may go home, Petite Rouge…Rouge…Rouge…Rouge.”
Petite Rouge opened her eyes. Her mother was ferociously shaking her and saying, “Wake up, Petite Rouge! It’s midnight and you’re making a big commotion!” Petite Rouge told her mother about her dream. “Oh…well, bonne nuit, va couche,” said her mother. “Bonne nuit,” Petite Rouge replied. And she fell fast asleep.
