1st semester: 9/1-12/1 (no class on 9/15, 11/24)

2nd semester: 1/5-4/6 (no class on 3/16, 3/30)

Once you purchase the class and fill out THIS REGISTRATION FORM, we will email you the Google Classroom code. That's where you'll find your link to Zoom, etc. If you register fewer than 24 hours before the first class starts, the class recording will be made available to you. Contact us if you wish to begin later in the semester. 

For this special course, the instructor will advance at the pace of the students, taking longer with some assignments if necessary although an effort will be made to finish at least one lesson per week. The result is that some groups of students will not entirely finish the book, but nearly all students will be prepped to begin a new class next year. The ultimate goal is mastery of presented skills, not 100% completion of the course.

Book 5, Frog Prince: This course is for level 5 grammar students in grades 6th-12th. Students who are new to IEW grammar may need to start in book one since students are placed by experience, not age or grade. All students must own a student book for this course. 

Fix It! Grammar is one of the most well-loved grammar methods in the homeschooling community. Due to its effectiveness and ease of use, it is favored by students, parents, and teachers alike. In this program, students take on the role of editor for a faulty manuscript. For the first twenty weeks or so, they will learn new punctuation, homophone rules, and parts of speech. The last ten lessons, which serve primarily as a review, will be condensed in the final four weeks of live lessons. In addition, each individual exercise (120 total) contains a vocabulary word that students will learn within the context of the story they are editing. Students will leave this course equipped with a strong foundation in English grammar.
