In this class, students will learn, analyze, and review all nine structural units of IEW's Structure and Style method. The student text focuses on the key elements that make up each distinctive unit. Using writing samples provided by the instructor, students will practice identifying the required components and adding any missing parts. This is a fun, no-homework class designed to reinforce concepts from the school year, but it also works as an introduction to IEW’s structural units for new learners. As a result, students will deepen their understanding of several different paragraph structures found throughout the nine units while honing their ability to create well-organized, polished writing.

Online classes meet via Zoom.

No refunds unless the class is canceled. If a student is unable to complete the class for some reason, they will still have access to the weekly videos. :)
