Once you purchase the class and fill out THIS REGISTRATION FORM, we will email you the Google Classroom code. Contact us if you wish to begin later in the semester.

This class will provide students time each week to listen to well-written stories and talk about them together.

During each session, the instructor will read from carefully selected literature that is appropriate for conservative Christian homes. While reading, the teacher will occasionally pause, allowing students to reflect, predict, or respond to what they are hearing. Some weeks may include more discussion during the reading, while others may leave most of the conversation for the end.

There will be no homework, assigned reading, or grading. Our goal is to help students think about stories, improve vocabulary through context, develop a taste and familiarity with well-written poetry or prose, and share their thoughts in a low-pressure setting.

Students may be asked what they noticed, what surprised them, how a character changed, what they think might happen next, etc. Literary terms and deeper analysis may be introduced occasionally, but the focus will remain on understanding and enjoying the text.

This class is a good fit for families who want to include more quality literature in their week without adding the stress of extra homework.

Online classes meet via Zoom.

No refunds unless the class is canceled. If a student is unable to complete the class for some reason, they will still have access to the weekly videos. :)
