Test Prep Lesson x 1, various instructors, arranged

This listing is for a single 60-minute test-prep lesson. If you need two 60-minute lessons or a single 120-minute lesson, purchase a quantity of two 60-minute increments, and so forth. 

Once you purchase the class and fill out THIS REGISTRATION FORM, we will email you the Google Classroom code. That's where you'll find your link to Zoom, etc. If you register fewer than 24 hours before the first class starts, the class recording will be made available to you. Contact us if you wish to begin later in the semester. 

Choose from ACT, SSAT, SAT, GRE, CLT, or ISEE. We also teach on-the-spot planning and execution of 5-paragraph essays in preparation of college entrance exams, with an emphasis on student independence.

There will be a required material purchase. We generally use slightly older editions of test-prep books to keep costs down. These can often be found online for $20-25. When you contact us, we'll let you know which version we are currently using so that you may purchase the same book.

If possible, we'll have students take a diagnostic exam before coming to their lesson. Next, we'll help your child firm up foundational skills and extend their understanding to the areas they are most capable of learning at the time of the lesson. If multiple lessons are taken, we can expand into more advanced concepts as the student's skill and comprehension grows.

Using this methodical approach, we can help your child earn higher scores. Note that for the ACT, CLT, ISEE, and SSAT (elementary only), questions on the test are unweighted and therefore scored the same regardless of difficulty level. This means that acing the easier content and scoring well on the mid-level content will help your child make a fairly decent score. If time remains in our lessons after easy and medium skills are solidified, we will dive into more difficult concepts.
